At last year’s fair, silicium and silicon were the buzzwords, every major brand had something in silicium. In contrast, 2006/07 seems to have been a year of rest for the hardworking elves of the watch industry. Aside from a few exceptions, the fair as a whole was not spectacular. There was enough to keep the buyers excited, but there were few outstanding watches or breakthrough innovations.
